The OpenAI Provider module extends the LLM Integration Base to connect with OpenAI's API. This module allows you to use GPT-4o, GPT-4, GPT-3.5 Turbo, and text-embedding models directly from your Odoo instance for chat, text generation, and semantic search.

Configuration

Get started in minutes

  1. Install the module in your Odoo instance
  2. Navigate to LLM → Configuration → Providers
  3. Create a new provider and select "OpenAI" as the provider type
  4. Enter your OpenAI API key from the OpenAI dashboard
  5. Click "Fetch Models" to import available models
  6. Set default models for text generation and embedding
